生活のむくろ　Trace of the life (Remains of an earth-quake disaster)

陸前高田を私が訪れた際に見た、東日本大震災の震災遺構がモチーフ。多くの人が住んでいたアパートは津波によって流され、外壁のみが残った。ぽっかり穴の空いた窓の向こうには青々とした山が見えた。10年近くが経過してもなお、本当の意味での復興はまだ先である。

The motif of this work is the remains of the Great East Japan Earthquake that happened in 2011. The apartment where many people lived was washed away by the tsunami, leaving only the exterior walls. From the window of the remains, I could see the mountains far away. A decade has passed since the disaster, but the true sense of recovery has not yet been completed.
