ペンギンブース（女子トイレ）

藝大と東京都のトイレ改修プロジェクト「上野公園トイレミュージアム」で金属パーツ部分の担当で参加しました。上野は動物園があることから、動物と「排泄と健康」をテーマとし、建築科を中心に音楽・美術の様々な科と協力して完成させた美術館のようなトイレです。

私は友人と二人で手すりとフック部分を制作しましたが、デザインから鋳造、溶接、着色や設置部分の調整まで全て行いました。私がデザインした手すりがあるのはパンダブースとペンギンブースです。パンダブースは笹、ペンギンブースは波の形をしていて、魚が泳いでいます。

多くの方に長期間使っていただくものなのでデザイン面や仕上げで苦労したことは多かったですが、ぜひ末長く大切にしてほしいです。

I participated in the "Ueno Park Toilet Museum," a toilet renovation project by the University of the Arts and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
The theme of this toilet is "excretion and health.
We collaborated with various departments of music and art to create a museum-like toilet.
My friend and I made the handrails and hooks. We did everything from designing, casting, welding, coloring, and adjusting the installation. The handrails I designed are installed in the panda and penguin booths. The panda booth is in the shape of a bamboo grass and the penguin booth is in the shape of a wave with fish swimming in it.
There were a lot of difficulties in the design and finishing process because the products will be used by many people for a long time, but I hope they will be cherished for a long time.
